These were last winter's credit shoes! My own leg is rather narrow, so there was a lot of wool stocking in these and it did well with the merino wool + wool sock combo even in the cold, of course, due to the thin base, it starts to freeze when it is in place. For myself, the shoes didn’t feel particularly slippery in the winter weather. The zipper is a really handy feature, no need to fight with the straps. Sludge / water have kept well during the intermittent seasons. The shoes are stylish for better spending as well as hanging out with a child in the sandbox. So great Mid-season / Southern winter boots!

I bought Be Lenka Nordit as winter shoes for the city in a size larger than I usually wear brand shoes. The shoe thus fit on top of a thin and thick wool sock. I wore shoes all winter, of course in the hard -25 frosts the outdoor activities were short spins for mandatory things. The shoes have kept the feet dry and warm from wet autumn weather to severe frosts.

My husband bought these shoes for himself and commented: winter boots most wonderful thing I've ever put my foot! He has a wide last. Easy to put on the foot and pleasing to the eye.
I bought myself similar, only different colors: blue. I really like it. I have a normal wide last and a high arch. These also have a warm lining, but I also have Polar series shoes for even colder weather.

The Nords are already in use for the second winter season and I have been satisfied. The sole is comfortable and the leather cover provides sufficient protection from moisture. A light fleece lining together with additional insoles is enough for me in the milder winters of the south. In autumn and spring, they are wonderful without wool socks and insoles. The lacing provides a comfortable fit and the zipper makes it easier to put on.
