Please note that in order to avoid stains on the shoe upper the soles are not glued all the way to the edge. The soles are therefore properly glued, and the small gap at the edge of the sole is not a manufacturing defect. With use the gap may become more obvious because the sole of the barefoot shoe is flexible. However, it doesn't mean that the sole is deattaching, there is no loss of function and therefore these cases are not considered as claims.

Top shoes! I found these at the last drop for the trip, after I've been looking for longer shoes that are leather, membrane-free and not lined with water-repellent fabrics. We hiked with these for a week in Norway right after putting them into use and lightly greasing them, some with a rucksack, some with just a daypack. My legs didn't hurt, the grip was top class on rocks and stones, and at least good on muddy slopes. The socks stayed dry from the moisture coming from the outside, and the feet did not grind. I definitely recommend, wonderfully light shoes for even rougher terrain.
As soon as I put on these wonderfully light shoes for the first time, it felt as if they were custom-made for me. My foot is wide but shallow, and the ankle and heel are narrow. The eternal challenge is to find shoes that are comfortable in the head and toes, but which are not sloppy. These are just that. The lacing is a bit strange, but on the other hand, it tightens that particular part of the ankle tight. I also like the ugly look of these :-D
